CARS+ will identify and investigate current issues to develop policies as guidelines for action and training.
CARS+ will provide ongoing professional support to chapters and individual members and address the concerns of Resource Specialists and Special Education Teachers.
CARS+ will represent and protect the interests of the Resource Specialist Program and Special Education Teachers by proactive involvement with the State Legislature, California Department of Education, and local, state, and national organizations.
CARS+ will increase public awareness of special education students and the programs that serve them.
CARS+ will expand membership and increase active involvement at chapter, region and state levels.
CARS+ will have a stable state organization that facilitates the accomplishments of CARS+ goals.
