Region News & Upcoming Events:
Region 6 Event: Please join the San Diego Chapter of CARS+ at
their "Welcome Back" event on Thursday, September 23rd. The
meeting will be held at the Mission Valley Library, starting at
3:30. Members are encouraged to bring a colleague and everyone
serving students with special needs is welcomed to attend.
Plans are in the works for a "Make-it Take-it" workshop
early in October. More information will be available at the
Welcome Back event.
This year's CARS+ convention, "A Capital Idea", will be held
in Sacramento on February 18th & 19th. Start planning now to
ensure that you'll be there! The C+ website has a great 'early
bird' offer!
If you would like to volunteer your assistance in the
running of the convention, please contact Wendy Kellogg at
region6director@carsplus.org.
We are seeking energetic special educator advocates who
enjoy and have time for camaraderie, e-mails, and board meetings
as a future Region 6 director. You can start your training as an
assistant director. Contact Wendy Kellogg or Karen Karagozian.
The Region 6 Director welcomes your invitation to present at
an event in South Bay, North San Diego County, East County, or
the Imperial Valley. E-mail Wendy Kellogg if you would like
