Siskiyou, Modoc, Shasta, Lassen, Tehama, Plumas, Glenn, Butte, Sierra, Colusa, Sutter, Yuba, Nevada, Placer, Yolo, Sacramento, El Dorado, Humboldt, Trinty, and Del Norte counties.
Region News & Upcoming Events:
  • Region 7 has been as busy as the rest of the state. There is a new CARS+ chapter in the Sacramento area. The special educators in the Twin Rivers Unified School District have started a local chapter with the support of the district's educators association. They would like to invite CARSplus members to come and join with them as they learn about and discuss the best ways to support our students and the programs that serve them.
  • At the last TRUECARS meeting of the 2009-2010 school year the chapter was happy to welcome members from surrounding districts and plan to continue the process to broaden their scope and reach out to CARS+ members throughout the Sacramento area.
  • The chapter also had an end of the year election of officers for the 2010-2011 school year. Sally Mandujan, now the chapter President and Paula Ramsey the chapter vice president are working over summer break to set the agendas for next year. Come and join them.
